A collection of original drawings and cell phone pictures by Craig Wheat.
Includes a free mix CD, pullout poster, and sticker.
Wheat’s outlandish drawings explore drug culture, children’s cartoons, punk rock, hip hop, and the Oakland Raiders. For this book, Wheat has selected a series of his newest drawings and coupled them with preposterous cell phone pictures, resulting in a bizarre narrative of visual non sequiturs that would confuse even the devoted stoner. Each publication from a limited first edition of 100 will come complete with a mix CD, pullout poster, and sticker all developed by Wheat in conjunction with the book release.
Limited edition of 100 signed and numbered copies.
Laser-printed, black and white with color cover, 28lb paper, staple-bound.
Craig Wheat was born and raised in Montana, and received his MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2009. He is the illustrator who developed the infamous Hipster Kitty meme, completely by accident. When not drawings skulls, bongs, and upside down crosses, Wheat can be found smashing his face into the pavement of skate parks across Oregon.
